Dosage rate monitoring
Many liquid proportioning applications are timing dependent.
The FCI compact monitors the contstant flow during proportioning procedures and thus ensures identical flows. With its excellent response time, the sensor is perfectly suited to applications with short proportioning intervals.
Run-dry protection of pumps
If the monitoring task involves detection of whether the pump is actually delivering the medium, monitoring of the pump’s feed pressure is not sufficient.
The FCI compact monitors the actual flow rate and indicates a change in the flow speed. Pump systems are thus securely run-dry protected.
Repair or replacement costs and system down-times are eliminated.
Flow monitoring in filling systems
To meet the demanding requirements of quality assurance in filling lines, it must be assured that the dosage rate is always identical during the filling procedure. This is another factor that is reliably monitored by the FCI compact.
If an FCI with analogue output is used, even minor deviations of the filling volume can be detected.
Monitoring of cooling circuits
During lubrication and cooling of tools and installation components the constant flow of cooling and lubricating agents has to be monitored to avoid system damages.
The FCI compact immediately registers missing flows and signals the need to shut-down machines and systems.
